German ship management and maritime services companies Harren Group and NSB Group have formally joined forces in Manila through the successful launch of a new crewing joint venture, Albireo Maritime People and Performance Incorporated, marking a significant milestone in their long-term engagement with Filipino seafarers and global shipowners.

The Renaming and Rebranding Day formally transitioned Philcrew Maritime and Offshore Services Incorporated to Albireo Maritime People and Performance Incorporated, reflecting a change in corporate name and brand identity while ensuring continuity of operations. The activity underscored the company’s updated market positioning, with crewing services and operational frameworks continuing seamlessly under the Albireo name.

Established in close collaboration with local partners in the Philippines, Albireo is designed to deliver reliable, professional, and people-focused crewing services across a wide range of vessel types. The Manila-based operation currently manages approximately 800 seafarers deployed on nearly 90 vessels worldwide, providing comprehensive support covering recruitment, training coordination, documentation, deployment, and structured career planning.
