A series of Ukrainian drone attacks struck Russia’s southern Rostov region overnight, resulting in the deaths of three people and injuries to several others, according to regional authorities.
Officials stated that one drone hit a cargo vessel moored at the port of Rostov-on-Don, causing a fire onboard. Two crew members were reported killed in the incident, while several others sustained injuries. Emergency services responded to the scene and extinguished the fire.
In a separate incident elsewhere in the region, authorities reported that a civilian was killed following a drone strike that caused damage to local infrastructure. Details on the extent of damage are still being assessed.
