AMOSUP Launches “My AMOSUP Online” at First-Ever Kapihan sa AMOSUP
Manila, Philippines — September 11, 2025. The Associated Marine Officers’ and Seamen’s Union of the Philippines (AMOSUP-PTGWO-ITF) has officially unveiled My AMOSUP Online, a digital platform designed to bring the Union’s services closer to its members, during the first-ever Kapihan sa AMOSUP.

The platform, now in its Beta phase, can be accessed via web browser at https://my.amosup.online
, with a mobile app available for Android users. Versions for Apple and Huawei devices are also in development. My AMOSUP Online is exclusively for AMOSUP members and currently features the Sailor’s Home Online Registration (SHORe) System—allowing check-in at Sailor’s Home Manila—and the Provident Fund E-form for claims processing.

Mr. Nixon Forteza, AMOSUP Network Administrator, shared that efforts are ongoing to harmonize the Union’s data systems and gradually expand the platform to cover all AMOSUP service units across its nationwide branches. In line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012, members must upload a signed consent form with a selfie, along with their Seaman’s Book details, before accessing services.

The launch also featured a lively forum on the Magna Carta of Filipino Seafarers (RA 12021), led by AMOSUP Senior Legal Counsel Atty. Alex Ragonjan. Union members, cadets from the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP), maritime journalists, and seafarer vloggers actively engaged in discussions on the law and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

In addition, AMOSUP shared updates on its upcoming 65th anniversary celebration on November 11, 2025, themed “Anchored in Strength, Sailing into the Future”. The Union also highlighted its #AMOSUP65for65 campaign, underscoring its continued commitment to supporting Filipino seafarers.

Through Kapihan sa AMOSUP, the Union aims to bring important maritime issues and service updates closer to its growing membership.
